Step 1: Prepare your lawn
Before applying any fertiliser or grass seed, prepare your lawn by following these steps:
- Mow the lawn to a height of about 5 cm.
- Remove any leaves, debris, or weeds.
- Water the lawn thoroughly if the soil is dry to ensure proper moisture for seeding and fertilising.
Step 2: Sowing grass seed
Product: Sports & Fun grass seed
Application rate: 17g/m²
- Water the soil thoroughly before sowing the grass seed.
- Divide the seed into two equal parts. Spread the first part lengthwise and the second part crosswise for even coverage.
- Use a roller or gently press the seed into the soil to ensure good contact for optimal germination.
- Water immediately after sowing and keep the soil moist for at least two weeks.
- Avoid walking on the lawn until the grass reaches around 5 cm in height.
Step 3: Fertilising
Product: Lawn Starter fertiliser
Application rate: 25g/m²
- Evenly spread the fertiliser over the newly seeded area using a hand spreader.
- Lightly water the lawn after application to activate the fertiliser.
- Lawn Starter can be reapplied during early lawn establishment to promote healthy root growth.

General Tips:
- Mowing: Maintain a lawn height of about 5 cm throughout the year. Avoid cutting the grass too short, especially in summer and winter.
- Watering: AquaSaver-coated grass seed reduces water usage, but the lawn still needs regular moisture for optimal growth.
- Fertilising: Apply fertiliser every 2-3 months depending on the season, ensuring your lawn gets the necessary nutrients.
